Railways are continuously progressing. Vande Bharat Express train is running in the country. Bullet train is about to run. At the same time, you will soon get a chance to travel on the Hyperloop track. For this, a 410 km track has been prepared. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared the video of the Hyperloop track. While sharing the video, he wrote that India’s first Hyperloop test track is ready. Team Railways and IIT Madras have jointly prepared it. With the Hyperloop train track, the way for high-speed transportation has opened in India.
Hyperloop train is a high speed train which runs in vacuum in a tube. In this, the train runs on a pod equipped with magnetic technology. In this technology, an elevated transparent tube is laid, inside which the bogie can run at high speed. Due to no friction in the tube, its speed goes up to 1100 to 1200 km per hour, although the maximum speed of Hyperloop being developed by Indian Railways is 600 km. The electricity cost in this is very low. There is almost no pollution in this technology.
Due to the high speed, the time taken to travel by this train is reduced considerably. Its speed will leave even the bullet train behind. This hyperloop train has been designed in such a way that its speed can go up to 1100 km per hour. That means you will reach Patna from Delhi in less than 1 hour. However, its operational speed is 360 km per hour.
It is believed that the country’s first Hyperloop train will run between Mumbai and Pune. After the completion of this project, the distance between Mumbai and Pune will be reduced to just 25 minutes. Currently, it takes 3 to 4 hours for the railways to cover this distance. If everything goes well and Hyperloop trains start operating in India, then it can change the entire direction of railways. Hyperloop can become the first choice of people by defeating bullet trains and flights. However, there is a fear regarding the fare that the ticket price may be equal to that of a flight.
The Hyperloop track offers the pleasure of a nonstop journey. Sit down once and reach your destination directly. You will not get any chance to stop in between. This pod will be able to seat about 24-28 people at a time.
The concept of Hyperloop is not new. Elon Musk first talked about it in the year 2013. The purpose behind his idea was to transport people from Los Angeles to San Francisco without stopping.
