Bihar: Patna’s famous Khan Sir was taken into custody! Bihar Police denied
During the protest against the normalization of BPSC exam in Patna on Friday evening, coaching operator Khan Sir and student leader Dilip were taken into custody by the police. Candidates were protesting against the normalization policy since morning, during which the police also had to lathicharge. Khan Sir had reached the Gardnibagh protest site in support of the protesters. The administration has said that the protesters will be removed soon. However, later the police denied the news of Khan Sir being taken into custody and said that it was on his request that the police had gone to escort Khan Sir to his car. Regarding this, the police has also warned social media handlers not to spread rumors.
In fact, there is a lot of anger among the students regarding the normalization process in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) exam. They are demanding the removal of this policy. From Friday morning itself, a large number of candidates took to the streets in Patna and started protesting. The tussle between the police and the protesters continued for about four hours. The police had to resort to lathicharge to control the situation.
Khan Sir had reached the Gardnibagh Dharna Sthal and supported the candidates
After this incident, the protesters gathered at the Gardnibagh Dharna Sthal and continued their protest. Famous coaching operator Khan Sir also joined the protest in support of the students. He reached the Gardnibagh Dharna Sthal and supported the demands of the candidates. Khan Sir told the students that he is with them and fully supports them. He said that the policy of normalization is not in the interest of the students.

Meanwhile, the news ran that in the evening, Patna Police took Khan Sir and student leader Dilip into custody. Gardnibagh police station took them to the police station. But later Patna Police issued a statement. It said that ‘Yesterday on 06.12.24, BPSC candidates were demonstrating for their demands. In the same sequence, coaching operator Khan Sir himself came to Gardanibagh police station and met the magistrate present there, and assured the students of understanding, then on their request that they should be dropped safely to their car, they were dropped safely to their car near Atal Path in a police vehicle. Patna Police denies the news of their arrest.
