Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in the Industrial and Tourism Development Fair in Ukhimath, said this about homestay

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today attended the Agriculture, Industrial and Tourism Development Fair at Syalsaur in Ukhimath. The Chief Minister said that along with strengthening the rural economy, homestays also introduce tourists coming to Uttarakhand from the country and abroad to the rich culture of the state. He said that a large number of homestays are being operated in the state, providing employment to thousands of local people.

Earlier, Pushkar Singh Dhami was given a warm welcome at Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. Local people including the priests of the temple welcomed CM Dhami. CM Dhami reached Ukhimath on Saturday on a two-day visit to the district.

The CM participated in the Pandava dance organized in the temple premises. Tourists of the district stayed overnight at a home stay in village Sari. After the formation of Uttarakhand state, Dhami is the first CM to stay overnight in a village in the district.
