There will be contemplation, brainstorming and discussions at the global level on the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo to be held in Dehradun. Announcing the program, CM Dhami said that people have seen the effect of Ayurveda and AYUSH during the pandemic.

The special thing is that more than 300 international representatives from 58 countries are participating in this global Ayurveda Congress. While with 6500 representatives and 2 lakh researchers from across the country, this event will become a unique platform for knowledge and cooperation. Stalls of 8 departments of Uttarakhand state, Health, Skill Development, Tourism, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Industry, Garden, Rural Development will be helpful in promoting it as a major center of wellness tourism. The government wants that after this program, the state should get a new identity in the field of Ayurveda like Yoga. Therefore, CM Dhami has also given many instructions to the officials for the program.

CM Dhami said that the construction work of 3 new 50-bed AYUSH hospitals is being done in Tehri, Kotdwar and Tanakpur in the state. The establishment of 300 Ayush-based Ayushman Arogya Mandirs has been completed in the state. Facilities like telemedicine, panchkarma and marma chikitsa are being provided in all AYUSH hospitals. More than 150 AYUSH hospitals in the state have received NABH Accreditation. Tell me, how capable can Uttarakhand become in terms of Ayurveda? This can be estimated from the fact that near Kotdwar in Uttarakhand is the workplace of sage Charak, the father of Ayurveda, and he wrote Charakh Samhita while living here.
