Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will now also have a stop at Najibabad. This will also benefit the people of Garhwal division of Uttarakhand. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri today participated as the chief guest in the program of halt at Najibabad junction and flagged off the train.

In the program, she said that our people travel a lot between Dehradun and Lucknow and there was a need for good trains for a long time. In this series, Vande Bharat train started from the month of November, but its stop was Haridwar after Dehradun. People of our Kotdwar area had to go to Haridwar to catch this train. Now the halt of the train at Najibabad will provide great relief to the people of Kotdwar including the hills. Now with this train, our people will travel between Dehradun and Lucknow in just 8 hours and 20 minutes.

She said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is connected with railway connectivity. Today, with the halt of Vande Bharat Express at Najibabad, we have also been connected to that link.
