Nine female students from the state have been selected under the India-Japan Technical Intern Program. Skill Development Minister Saurabh Bahuguna sent the students off to Japan on Saturday.

Nine female students from various districts of Uttarakhand have been selected under the India-Japan Technical Intern Program. These students were selected after receiving Japanese language training. The Uttarakhand government is providing subsidies for Japanese language training.

23 young people have previously secured jobs in Japan
It is worth noting that 23 young people have previously secured jobs in Japan under the India-Japan Technical Intern Program. Students are trained in the state under the Chief Minister’s Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme. All the female students have been selected with monthly salaries ranging from one to one and a half lakh rupees.
