Afghanistan won the third T20 by 3 wickets: Rashid Khan took 4 wickets; defeated Zimbabwe 2-1 in the series

Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by 3 wickets in the third T20. On Saturday, Zimbabwe batted first at Harare Sports Club and scored 127 runs. Afghanistan achieved the target by losing 7 wickets in 19.3 overs.

Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan took 4 wickets. He received the Player of the Match award for this performance. By winning the third T20, Afghanistan also won the series by 2-1. Zimbabwe won the first match by 4 wickets and Afghanistan won the second match by 50 runs.

Bennett scored 31 runs from Zimbabwe Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bowl. Zimbabwe lost the wicket of Marumani in the very first over, he could score only 6 runs. Brian Bennett scored 31, Wesley Madhevere scored 21 and Dion Myers scored 13 runs to take the score close to 70. After the wickets of these three, Sikandar Raza and Faraz Akram were out after scoring 6 runs each.

The Afghanistan team has currently gone to Zimbabwe to play a series of all three formats, starting from December 17. The team won the 3 T20 series 2-1. Now the 3 ODI series will start from December 17. The remaining 2 matches will also be played in Harare on December 19 and 21. At the same time, 2 Tests will be played in Bulawayo from December 26 and January 2.
