Teqball World Championship: India dominates Teqball World Championship, Anas-Declan create history by winning bronze

These days Teqball World Championship is going on in Vietnam, in which India’s Anas Beg and Declan Gonsalves have created history by winning the bronze medal. This pair gave India its first medal in the Teqball World Championship.

221 athletes from 95 countries participated
A total of 221 athletes from 95 countries participated in different categories in the Teqball World Championship 2024. Organised by the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the championship has helped Teqball gain a distinct identity around the world. The championship was broadcast on major sports networks including Eurosport and FITEQ’s YouTube channel.

Declan-Anas increased the pride of the country

Declan Gonsalves and Anas Beg have brought glory to the country by winning the bronze medal in the men’s doubles category for India. This is India’s first medal in this championship. Teqball is a sport that is not known to many people in the country. But the efforts of Declan and Anas have now made this sport popular in India.
