Uttar Pradesh / Shahjahanpur: Woman and her lover killed her husband by hitting his head with a brick
In Tahkhurdkalan village of Khutar block area of Shahjahanpur district, Shamim Bano along with her son’s brother-in-law and lover Manus Ali killed her husband Yunus by smashing his head with a brick on Friday night. After the murder, Yunus’ body was thrown outside the room near a pile of bricks and bricks were thrown on top of it. In the morning, wife Shamim Bano went to her maternal home in the village and told that husband Yunus died due to falling of bricks at night. When other family members and villagers saw that there was no injury on Yunus’ body except on the head, people got suspicious. Police was informed. Police came and investigated. During this, Yunus’s 7-year-old son Alishan told the whole story of the murder by mother Shamim Bano and Manus Ali at night. After this, the police took Shamim Bano into custody. Her lover Manus Ali fled.
40-year-old Yunus was living in a tin shed outside the village in village Tahkhurdkalan of Khutar area, where his 35-year-old wife Shamim Bano, 20-year-old son Rizwan, 15-year-old son Sawan and 7-year-old son Alishan live. Yunus’s in-laws are in the village itself, while he had also got his son Rizwan married in the village a year ago. Rizwan’s brother-in-law’s name is Manus Ali. Manus Ali already had an illicit relationship with his brother-in-law Rizwan’s mother Shamim Bano. When husband Yunus came to know about this, he started controlling his wife Shamim Bano. 8 days ago also, the villagers had seen the deceased’s wife Shamim Bano and Manus Khan in an objectionable situation on the banks of a pond outside the house, on which a panchayat was held among the relatives due to public shame and Yunus reached a compromise, while Yunus’s son Rizwan and Sawan had gone to Delhi to work as laborers and daughter-in-law was at her parents’ house.
