Israel took revenge for the drone attack by the Houthis, more than 20 fighter jets flew 2000 km and carried out a major airstrike on Yemen

Israel has carried out a major airstrike on Yemen within 24 hours of a drone attack by Houthi extremists. On Friday, Israeli Air Force fighter jets bombed three places including Hudaydah. The Israeli airstrikes came soon after the US-led coalition attacked north of Sanaa. Israeli officials said the attacks were coordinated with the US, but did not call it a joint operation. Israeli officials said they would continue to hit Iran-backed Houthi leaders until they stop their drone and missile attacks.

More than 20 fighter jets involved in the attack
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said more than 20 fighter jets, refueling and spy planes of the Israeli Air Force took part in the attack. Israeli fighter jets bombed Hudaydah and Ras Isa ports on Yemen’s west coast. Along with this, the Hejaz power plant near the capital Sanaa was also targeted.

Attack after going 2000 kilometers away
This action of the Israeli Air Force is also big because during this time they had to fly 2000 kilometers. Israeli jets have done this before as well. After the attacks, Israeli leaders warned that if missile and drone attacks continue, the group will have to face more attacks. Earlier, Israeli Air Defense shot down three drones coming from Yemen on Thursday night.

PM Netanyahu’s warning to Houthis
After the Israeli attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Houthis in Yemen will have to pay the price for attacking Israel. Netanyahu said, ‘As we promised, the Houthis are paying a heavy price for their aggression against us and will continue to pay it.’ He further said that ‘We will take action with strong determination and strength against any entity threatening Israel.’

Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Iran-backed Houthis will not get any exemption. In a video statement, Katz said, “The IDF’s attack in Yemen today is a clear message to the leader of the Houthi terrorist group, Abd al-Malik al-Houthi, and the leaders of the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen – no one will be spared. We will pursue you and find you and destroy your established terrorist infrastructure.”
