The returning officer has released the details of the expenditure of the candidates in the municipal elections. Two independent candidates have spent more than 68 lakhs, which is more than the party workers. Whereas BJP and BSP candidates have spent much less than them.

In the Ramnagar Nagar Palika elections, Madan Mohan Joshi of Bharatiya Janata Party and Vinod Kumar of Bahujan Samaj Party are the party candidates. According to the details of election expenditure released till January 18, Madan Mohan Joshi of BJP has spent 13 lakh 76 rupees. While Vinod Kumar of BSP has spent 67 thousand 207 rupees, independent Asif Iqbal has spent 33 lakh 5 thousand 116 rupees.
Independent Narendra Sharma has spent 11 lakh 7 thousand 470 rupees, independent candidate Mohd. Akram has spent 12 lakh 5 thousand 373 rupees, independent candidate Mohd. Adil Khan has spent a total of 84 thousand rupees, independent Bhuvan Dangwal has spent 82 thousand 938 rupees. Independent Bhuvan Pandey has spent 35 lakh 2 thousand 855 rupees. Independent Narendra Sharma has spent 11 lakh 7 thousand 470 rupees.
