Uttarakhand: Dhami government took one more step forward regarding UCC, web portal passed in mock drill, 3500 dummy applications were filed from different areas, next exercise will be held on 24th January
Preparations are going on in full swing for the implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand. In this connection, the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) organized a mock drill for the Uttarakhand UCC portal. Whereas, mock drill will be conducted on January 24 at the CSC level. Apart from this, flaws were seen in the mapping between the Registrar and Sub-Registrar user accounts in some areas. In such a situation, ITDA has started the process of removing these problems.
7,728 officer IDs created on UCC portal
This mock drill was done to check and test the operational capacity of the portal before the official launch of the portal. During the mock drill, more than 3,500 citizens (dummy applications) registered on the portal. Also, action was taken by the Sub-Registrar and Registrar on about 200 dummy applications. Also, 7,728 officer IDs were also created on the UCC portal.
The purpose of the mock drill was to identify operational challenges
According to officials, the main objective of the mock drill was to identify technical difficulties and operational challenges related to the launch of the UCC portal. In such a situation, attention was paid to all points during the mock drill. Some minor technical problems have been identified in the citizen module, especially the Aadhaar-enabled registration process.
Help in improving the workflow of the portal
According to officials, the mock drill has helped in further improving the workflow of the portal, so that all the processes from applicant, registration to final approvals can be more improved. In such a situation, along with improving the performance of the ITDA UCC portal, work is being done to remove the problems, so that the public can get better experience and better service.
