Uttarakhand: Read this news before voting in the civic elections, you will not be able to take these items inside the booth

Voting is to be held in 100 municipal bodies of Uttarakhand for municipal bodies on January 23. All preparations have been completed by the Election Department and the Police Administration to make the elections peaceful and fair. Legal action will be taken against the persons violating the code of conduct in the civic elections. At the same time, voters have been banned from carrying any kind of material other than mobile inside the polling station.

The final preparations for voting and counting have been completed under the supervision of Deepti Singh, the district observer of the civic elections. While meeting with the mayor and councilor candidates in the Municipal Corporation auditorium, the Election Officer gave necessary guidelines regarding becoming a polling agent and counting agent, as well as following the model code of conduct within 100 meters of the polling booth. Apart from this, the final test of the expenditure account was also done by the candidates. Election Officer AP Vajpayee said that all the information related to counting and voting has been shared with the candidates.

Along with this, information has also been given about the Model Code of Conduct. Legal action will be taken against the persons violating the code of conduct. Voters have been banned from carrying any material other than mobile phones inside the polling booth. The police administration is fully alert to ensure peaceful voting. Victory processions of candidates have been banned on the day of counting of votes.
