Uttarakhand: After the implementation of UCC, awareness campaign will be run across the state, videos have been prepared

The date for implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand state has been announced. Under which Uniform Civil Code will be implemented in the state on 27th January at 12:30 pm. Along with this, UCC portal will also be launched. After the implementation of UCC, Uttarakhand state will become the first state in the country where UCC will be implemented. After the implementation of UCC, a public awareness campaign will be run to inform the people of the state about the rules of UCC and to apply on the UCC portal. Videos have also been prepared for this.

The people of the country including Uttarakhand have been waiting for UCC for a long time. In such a situation, now the time has come near when UCC is going to be implemented in Uttarakhand. Information about the programs related to the implementation of UCC has also been released. In this regard, according to the order issued by Home Secretary and Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the manual and portal for implementing the Uniform Civil Code at ‘Mukhya Sevak Sadan’ located at the Chief Minister’s residence on January 27, 2025 at 12.30 pm.

While giving information, Home Secretary and Secretary Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli said that as soon as the UCC is implemented, a public awareness program will be run after that. Also told that some video clips have also been prepared for the public, through which people will be made aware. Like what provisions have been made in the UCC Act and how to apply on the UCC portal, different videos have been prepared for this. Also Shailesh Bagauli said that workshops will also be conducted in all the universities. Along with this, workshops will be conducted with all the stakeholders. So that more and more people can become aware about UCC.
