After Pranav Champion, now action has been taken against Umesh Kumar as well. Dehradun DM has canceled his arms license. Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Basnal has taken a big action against Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar. DM Dehradun has suspended the approved arms license with immediate effect in view of public interest.
Let us tell you that on Sunday, 26 January, former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion reached the office of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar with his supporters. Where he opened fire with his supporters. After this, he also beat up Umesh Kumar’s staff. After the firing, Champion fled from there. On getting information about the case, Umesh Kumar also reached his office. He pressurized the police to take action. After this, the police registered a case. After which Champion was arrested from Dehradun late in the evening.
