Uttarakhand: Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan inaugurated “Didi Ki Pathshala” on the occasion of her birthday, distributed school bags and sports material to the children

Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker and regional MLA, Ritu Khanduri Bhushan inaugurated “Didi Ki Pathshala” in Udayrampur, Kotdwar on the occasion of her birthday. On this occasion, the Assembly Speaker distributed school bags and sports material to the local children.

The Assembly Speaker said that when she came to Udayrampur a few days ago, she met Gaurav. Gaurav is handicapped in his legs, but despite this, he is a very energetic youth and wants to do something active for the society. At that time, many schemes were discussed with him under his campaign “Let’s Inspire Kotdwar”. Out of which, he chose a program to teach needy children “etiquette, English-speaking, general awareness etc. apart from school education. And Gaurav chose the name of his school as “Didi Ki Pathshala” and through this he will impart education. Here not only studies, but children will also be taught games like carrom, chess etc. Along with this, children will also be taught manners, way of sitting and getting up, way of talking, so that they can develop in all aspects.

Khanduri said that she herself will come to Didi Ki Pathshala from time to time to teach the children. So that the needy children can develop linguistic knowledge of English and Hindi along with confidence in them.

Ritu Khanduri Bhushan also said that “Didi Ki Pathshala” will be free and going forward, the aim of this initiative is to provide the children of the area not only education, but also the necessary skills to face the challenges in life. If this effort is successful, it will be implemented on a large scale.

On this special occasion of his birthday, the Speaker of the Assembly celebrated with the children and wished them a better future in the field of education.

This initiative was appreciated by the local public and the people of the area and it was called a positive step for the children of the area.
