Uttarakhand: Dhami government’s emphasis on ‘Plastic Free Uttarakhand’ campaign, prepared a special strategy, know the plan in detail

Campaigns are run from time to time with the aim of making Uttarakhand plastic free, but these campaigns prove to be mere formality. This is the reason why the Nainital High Court has expressed displeasure over the ban on plastic waste in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, now the government has decided to run a campaign with a better action plan to make Uttarakhand plastic free. In which along with making the public aware, efforts will also be made towards public participation.

Emphasis on ‘Plastic Free Uttarakhand’ campaign

Actually, today i.e. on January 30, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a virtual meeting of government level officers from Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi. In the meeting, CM Dhami directed to prepare a better action plan for plastic free Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand Plastic Waste), cleanliness and Fit India Movement. During this, CM Dhami said that the ‘Plastic Free Uttarakhand’ campaign should be run on a more comprehensive level.

Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a very important state in terms of its natural beauty as well as tourism and biodiversity. In such a situation, everyone needs to make efforts together to conserve the environment and biodiversity. He said that schools, colleges, non-governmental institutions and business organizations should also be involved in making this campaign successful. Because, public participation is more important for the success of any campaign.

Instructions to arrange QR code on plastic bottle

CM Dhami instructed the officials to arrange ‘QR code on plastic bottle’ at other religious and tourist places of the state like Kedarnath Dham. So that, it can help in plastic waste management. Also asked to make effective efforts towards cleanliness to set high standards of cleanliness and give a healthy environment to the people.

Instructions to install dustbins within 500 meters of tourist and religious places including Chardham Yatra route

CM Pushkar Dhami gave instructions to install dustbins every 500 meters especially on Chardham Yatra route, tourist and religious places under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Along with this, important instructions were given to the officials to regularly review the cleanliness arrangements at bus stands, railway stations and other public places.

Instructions to increase door-to-door garbage collection

At the same time, CM Dhami gave instructions to make people aware about 100 percent door-to-door garbage collection, to keep wet and dry garbage separately. He also asked to improve the cleanliness system in urban and rural areas. He said in clear words that work should be done more rapidly in the field of cleanliness in the state. For this, a meeting will be held with the officials elected in the civic elections after their oath taking.

Clean water should go from Uttarakhand to the Ganga river

He said that the work of legacy waste should be completed soon in all municipal corporations. Instructions were given to the officials that clean water should go from Uttarakhand to the Ganga river. For this, special attention should be paid to cleanliness in the tributary rivers of the Ganga. In the Swachhta Survey, arrangements should be made to declare the standards of cleanliness in rural areas like the bodies. Along with this, special attention should also be paid to cleanliness during the National Games.

Instructions to conduct yoga and exercise activities daily in educational institutions

CM Dhami gave instructions to make the ‘Fit India Movement’ more effective. He said that yoga and exercise activities should be conducted daily in educational institutions. The state government’s plan of open gym at the gram panchayat level should be done more effectively. Awareness camps should be organized continuously by the health department for a healthy Uttarakhand. Also, arrangements should be made for health tests.

Instructions to create awareness about the side effects of junk food

At the same time, CM Dhami said that under the Fit India Movement, people should be motivated for a balanced diet in the state. Healthy diet and awareness camps should be organized. People will be made aware about the side effects of junk food. Local products of the state should be promoted. Along with this, he asked to run an intensive checking campaign to stop adulteration.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
