Uttarakhand Board exams will begin from February 21, preparations have intensified in the districts

The examinations of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education are going to start from 21st February. Regarding the examinations, the Secretary of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education held a meeting with all the Chief Education Officers regarding its preparations. This time the maximum number of centers 135 have been made in Tehri Garhwal district, the least number of centers 42 have been made in Champawat district.

A meeting was organized in the auditorium of Uttarakhand Board of School Education Board Ramnagar regarding the preparation of the High School and Intermediate examinations to be held in the year 2025 of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education. Board Secretary Vinod Prasad Simalti gave information and said that the Uttarakhand Board examination in the state will start from 21st February and will be held till 11th March. Chief Education Officers of all the districts, in-charge officers of the main collection center and sub collection center have been called in the meeting regarding the preparation of the examination. He said that this examination will be conducted in 1245 examination centers within the state.

He said that 165 sensitive and 5 highly sensitive centers have been made in these examination centers. At the same time, 49 single centers and 1196 mixed centers have been made. This year, 1,36,688 students will appear for high school and 1,9,099 students will appear for intermediate examination. There are 114,420 institutional students and 2268 individual students in high school. There are 105,298 institutional students and 4401 individual students in intermediate.

Secretary Vinod Simalti said that the maximum number of centers i.e. 135 have been set up in Tehri Garhwal district and the minimum number of centers i.e. 42 have been set up in Champawat district. This year, 13 main collection, 26 sub collection centers, 29 evaluation centers, 25 mixed centers, three high school single centers and one inter single center have been set up. The written examinations of high school intermediate will be conducted from 21st February to 11th March. This examination will be held in single shift from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. 20 minutes extra will be given per hour for Divyang children. The board’s priority will be to conduct the examinations without cheating and in a transparent manner.
