Google has confirmed that Gmail accounts of 2.5 billion i.e. 250 crore users can be hacked through AI. Cybercriminals are committing this big fraud by calling users in the name of Google support. Google has issued a warning to users not to trust such fake calls and reset the password of their Gmail account immediately.

According to Forbes report, Google has issued a warning to crores of Gmail users saying that cybercriminals are calling in the name of Google support. The caller ID used by them looks completely genuine, due to which users get trapped in their trap. Hackers call Gmail users in the name of Google support agent and say that their account has been hacked and they should recover the account by using the recovery code received on their email. Not only this, the email and recovery code sent by the hackers also seem genuine.

Do this work immediately

▪️If you also get any such email or call, then ignore it.

▪️If by mistake you have tried to recover the account using the recovery code sent by hackers, then you should reset your Gmail account immediately.

▪️Not only this, always protect the Gmail account through two-factor authentication so that another security layer is added to your account.

How to reset Gmail password

▪️To reset your Gmail password, go to Settings on your Android device.

▪️Next, go to Google, type your name, then tap Manage your Google Account.

▪️Then go to “How to sign in to your Google Account” and tap Password.

▪️You may need to sign in here.

▪️Then enter your new password and then tap on Change Password.

If you do not know the password of your Gmail account, then tap on the option Forgot My Password. After this, follow the instructions given on the screen and answer the security questions. After this you will be able to change the password of your Gmail account.
