Recently, the model code of conduct applicable for the municipal elections has ended. The tenure of the post of President of BKTC, State Women’s Commission and Child Rights Protection Commission ends

After the end of the civic elections in Uttarakhand, now once again the buzz of distribution of responsibility has intensified. One reason for this is also because, the tenure of the post of President of Badri Kedar Temple Committee has ended in the month of January.

Apart from this, the tenure of the post of chairman of the State Women’s Commission and Child Rights Protection Commission has also ended in the month of January. These three posts are very important, which cannot be kept vacant for a long time. This is the reason that once again the hope of distribution of responsibilities has arisen among the leaders.

In fact, before the assembly elections in the year 2022, when the Dhami government dissolved the Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Management Board. After that the Badri Kedar Temple Committee came into existence again. Therefore, senior BJP leader Ajendra Ajay was made the chairman of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee, but after 3 years, Ajendra Ajay’s tenure has ended in January.

At present, the winter yatra is going on, while after two months the Chardham Yatra 2025 will also start. Due to which it is being expected that soon a leader can be entrusted with the responsibility of the post of President of BKTC. It is also discussed that the former president of BKTC Ajendra Ajay can be given the responsibility again.

Along with this, before the assembly elections to be held in the year 2022, on January 8, BJP leader Kusum Kandwal was given the responsibility of the post of President of Uttarakhand State Women Commission. Whose tenure ended in January 2025. In such a situation, new responsibility is also to be given to the post of State Women Commission.
