Mahendra Bhatt met Amit Shah amidst discussions of becoming the state president again, presented his report card

Amid discussions of him regaining the post of Uttarakhand BJP state president, Mahendra Bhatt made a courtesy call on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Monday. During this meeting, Bhatt presented his report card to Shah. He also shared information about the party’s performance in the civic elections. During this, Shah congratulated Bhatt on BJP’s victory.

Bhatt is a member of Rajya Sabha and is currently handling the reins of the party. With the start of the organizational election process, there are discussions about the name of the state president in the political circles of the party. Amidst the names of many contenders, there is also speculation that the party may hand over the responsibility of the post of state president to Mahendra Bhatt again. When contacted, Bhatt said, he could not meet the Union Home Minister after the civic elections. During the meeting, he gave information about the party’s performance in all the elections held so far. He told Shah that with the support of all the workers, the party won all the elections.
