Uttarakhand: Dhami government will set up migrant cell in every district of the state, -Chief Secretary gave instructions to all the District Magistrates to promptly resolve the land related issues of the migrants

While reviewing the progress of the campaign of adoption of villages of the state by migrants of Uttarakhand, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed the District Magistrates to constitute District Migrant Cell in every district with immediate effect. CS has directed the District Magistrates to organize a mandatory meeting of the District Administration and migrants once a month to cooperate with the migrants willing to cooperate in the development of the state through various works. Along with this, instructions have also been given to regularly send the report of this meeting and the information about the coordination efforts made with the migrants every month to the government. He has instructed all DMs to maintain continuous dialogue with the migrants.
CS has directed that District Magistrates should personally communicate and coordinate with each migrant, giving priority to the migrants willing to participate in the development of the state. He has directed to promptly resolve various issues, problems, land related matters of the villages adopted by the migrants through the District Migrant Cell.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has also urged the migrants connected with various countries through video conferencing to come forward for the development of villages in remote areas of the hilly regions of the state in view of the various possibilities of development in the districts and to make effective coordination with the concerned DM and district administration.
