38th National Games: Ended with cheers of Maa Nanda-Sunand, Amit Shah arrived at the closing ceremony

38th National Games: The closing ceremony of the 38th National Games has started at the IGI Sports Complex in Haldwani. Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at the program and accepted the greetings of the people by shaking. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present with him.

During this, tremendous enthusiasm was seen in the stadium. The CM presented mascot Mauli to Amit Shah. A beautiful confluence of folk culture, tradition, rituals and songs and music of the mountain is being seen in the venue packed with spectators.

Along with great enthusiasm among the people, there is also sadness about the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh of the Games which lasted for 19 days. But people are celebrating the moment of the end of this sports festival as a festival.

Started with the worship and hailing of Mother Nanda-Sunand

On this occasion, cultural programs started with the worship and hailing of Mother Nanda-Sunand. Folk singer Rakesh Paneru sang the bhajan Jai Ho Nanda Devi… melodious. Khushi Digari presented songs like Main Ghas Katun Lo…, Almora Angrez Aayo… etc. Chandra Prakash gave a beautiful rendition of the song Main Ja Chhun Kamala…. Govind Digari sang Laska Kamar… Jhoda-Chanchari, Govindi Dhundhru Bajade Chamchhama.

Dancer Sweta Mahara presented a beautiful dance on the song Chaita Ki Chaitwal, Paar Bheeden Ki Chhori, Cream Paudra…. The audience danced fiercely during her performance.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Defense Nikhil Khadse, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Kongkal Sangma, Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha were also present during the farewell of the 38th National Games based on the theme of Sankalp Se Shikhar. Tourists coming on weekends are being sent to Nainital, Bhimtal, Kainchi Dham via other routes instead of Haldwani city. Home Minister Shah will be welcomed with Kumaoni customs.

CM took stock

Before the Home Minister’s visit, CM Pushkar Dhami reached the International Stadium on Thursday and took stock of the preparations. During this, the CM said that it is a matter of good fortune for us that the National Games were inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is being present in the closing ceremony.

CM Dhami, who reached the Gaulapar Stadium, said that on the strength of strong infrastructure, Uttarakhand has proved its capabilities by conducting all the competitions related to the National Games within the state itself. By getting the hosting, sports talents also got encouragement, inspiration and medals.

In the 37th National Games held in Goa, we were at number 25 in the points table. Whereas this time we secured the seventh position. Due to which there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the whole state. The CM said that the youth will also get the benefit of building permanent structures and not temporary ones in big events in the future. The process of Uttarakhand’s sports talents flourishing is not going to stop now.

Dhami’s resolve, will also make Devbhoomi a sports land

Talking to the media, the Chief Minister said that the players also performed brilliantly on developing sports facilities. The government resolves that Devbhoomi will also be identified as a sports land. So that the players get a chance to show their talent at the national as well as international level.

CM reached among the players and took aim

Reaching different venues related to the National Games, the Chief Minister continuously boosted the morale of the players as well as encouraged them for better performance. On Thursday, he reached among the shooters in the stadium and also took aim with a laser gun. Earlier, sometimes he rode a bicycle and sometimes he reached wrestling competitions and gave the message that sports events are the priority of the government.
