Uttarakhand: Under the “Resolve of Best State”, Adarsh Sanstha organized a public awareness rally in Doiwala and made people pledge to preserve forests
On the resolution of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s Uttarakhand state “Best State”, government and non-government organizations are moving forward to make Uttarakhand advanced, in this episode today on 14 February 2025, Dehradun, under the aegis of Industrial Autonomy Cooperative Institute, a public awareness rally was taken out in Doiwala area to prevent forest fires and the damage caused to forest wealth by it. Through the rally, a resolution was also taken to protect the forests along with the protection of forest wealth and wildlife from fire.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Asha Kothari, President of Adarsh Sanstha, a public awareness rally was taken out on Friday in collaboration with Public Inter College Doiwala for the challenges of forest fire in the state and their solutions. Mrs. Asha Kothari said that we all have to make efforts together to keep the forests, wildlife and environment safe. As per the guidelines of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, she also appealed to everyone to ensure public participation in this direction to control forest fire. Doiwala Sugarcane Committee Chairman and Public Inter College Manager Manoj Nautiyal said that not only the forest department but all departments will have to work together in this direction to effectively control forest fire.
Doiwala Municipality Chairman Narendra Negi said that public awareness and public participation is also necessary to prevent incidents of forest fire. Public Inter College Doiwala, Forest Department, Doiwala Kotwali Police etc. also participated in the rally. On this occasion, social worker Ishwar Chandra Agarwal, school principal Ankit Dobariyal, councilor Ishwar Rauthan, SN Badola, teacher Ratnesh Divedi, Sudesh Sehgal, Deepak Pal, Ashutosh Dabral, forest inspector Chandi Prasad Uniyal, Jitendra Badthwal, Chhatrapal Singh Bisht, Pankaj Rawat, Purna Singh Rawat, Somnath, Roshan Ara etc. were also present.
