Uttarakhand: Dehradun will soon get relief from increasing traffic, work on Rispana and Bindal corridor will start

In view of the ever-increasing population and number of vehicles in Doon, the government is insisting on building the Dehradun Elevated Corridor. Regarding which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting regarding the Dehradun Elevated Corridor (Dehradun Elevated Road Project) in the Secretariat. In the meeting, CM Dhami directed the officials to start the work of Rispana and Bindal Corridor soon. Along with this, connecting the Dehradun Elevated Corridor to the Expressway, he also asked to request cooperation from the Center and start work from the State Sector soon.
Elevated corridor will be constructed on the bed of Rispana and Bindal rivers: Actually, a four-lane elevated corridor of 11 kms is to be constructed on the bed of Rispana river and 15 kms on the bed of Bindal river. Under which public services located inside these rivers like power line, high tension line, sewer line are to be shifted out of the river. Flood protection work will be done along with the construction of retaining wall on both sides of the river along with the elevated road.
Work should be completed with quality and within time limit
CM Dhami has instructed all the line departments to work in coordination with each other. He said that in view of the increasing population and number of vehicles, Dehradun should work on a better plan for other cities of the state as well. He has instructed the officials that the output of all the development works being done in the state should be visible on the ground. Special care should be taken to ensure that the quality of all the work is better and it is completed within time.
Instructions to continuously review the preparations for Nanda Rajjat
Preparations should also be started for the upcoming Rajjat Yatra. He instructed the Chief Secretary to continuously review the preparations for the upcoming Nanda Rajjat, UIIDB, Dehradun Elevated Road, connectivity works of Garhwal and Kumaon, Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission.
