Uttarakhand: Police stopped Mohit Dimri who was going to the assembly demanding land law

Mohit Dimri, the convenor of the Sangharsh Samiti of the Native Residence Land Law, who was going to the assembly to demand free electricity and water to the people of Uttarakhand on the lines of Delhi along with the Domicile and Land Law and to fulfill the promises made to the people in the 2022 elections, was stopped by the police by putting up barricades near Rispana.
The draft of the land law was handed over to the city magistrate in the Sangharsh Samiti
Mohit Dimri says that today we wanted to meet Chief Minister Dhami and ministers regarding all these issues. But he was not allowed to meet. If the government does not work on these issues, then a fight to the finish will be started. At the same time, the draft of the land law was handed over to the city magistrate on behalf of the Sangharsh Samiti. Dimri said that Domicile should be discussed in the assembly session. The land law should be pro-people. He said that if a law is made in favor of the land mafia, then it will be strongly opposed.
Opposed these provisions of UCC
Dimri also opposed the provision of permanent residence for one year and live-in relationship in UCC. He said that the salary, allowances and pension of MLAs and former MLAs are being increased in the assembly session. Are the sessions being held only for the luxury of MLAs and former MLAs? Why is work not being done on the issues of the public? Upanal and outsourced employees are fighting on the streets demanding equal pay for equal work.
Raised questions regarding the salary hike of MLAs and former MLAs
Dimri further said that retired employees are demanding implementation of the old pension scheme. Asha, Anganwadi and Bhojanmatas are constantly struggling to increase the honorarium. PRD, guerrilla organization and police personnel have appealed many times regarding their demands. Other employees working on meager honorarium are also agitating. Unemployed youth are wandering for employment. But the government is only concerned about its MLAs and former MLAs.
90 percent of the promises were not fulfilled by the government: Dimri
Mohit Dimri said that the BJP had released a vision document during the 2022 assembly elections. Many tempting promises were made to the public in that vision document. Out of which 90 percent of the promises have not been fulfilled till date. He said that the BJP had talked about starting the Chief Minister’s Trainee Scheme for unemployed youth. Under which, there was a promise of giving three thousand rupees to every unemployed for one year. The government should tell how many youth are being given this amount every year.
