17-year-old national player lost her balance while lifting 270 kg weight, died a painful death due to breaking of neck

A horrific accident is coming to light from Bikaner, Rajasthan. Where a national player Yashtika Acharya died a painful death during powerlifting in the gym. 17-year-old Yashtika was lifting a weight of 270 kg on her neck. During this time, her hand suddenly slipped. Due to loss of balance, the weight fell on her neck. Due to which her neck broke. After this painful accident, Yashtika was immediately taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared her dead.

Actually this case is of The Power Hector Gym near Bada Ganesh Temple at Natthusar Gate in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Where power lifter Yashtika Acharya was practicing in the gym. She had lifted a 270 kg rod on her neck. She died due to this rod.

Other players practicing in the gym said that Yashtika was practicing as usual. During this, her hand slipped. Due to which a 270 kg rod fell on her neck. This caused a severe shock. Due to this shock, the coach standing behind also fell back. Yashtika fainted after the heavy rod fell on her neck. An attempt was made to give her first-aid in the gym. After which she was taken to the hospital.
