Uttarakhand government’s big decision, former MLAs will be given state honors at their funeral

The budget session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly is going on in Dehradun. Today in the House, tribute was paid to former Prime Minister Late Dr. Manmohan Singh and former Jwalapur MLA Late Chandrashekhar Bhatte Wale. CM Dhami said that the inspiration that Manmohan Singh left for the society will definitely make people move forward. As simple as he was, his personality was equally extraordinary. His contribution is huge, his demise is an irreparable loss for everyone.

Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya paid tribute to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. He said Dr. Manmohan Singh is no longer among us, but we draw inspiration from his personality. He was the epitome of simplicity and seriousness. His contribution to the country will be remembered for generations to come. He was an economic advisor, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Governor of RBI.

The work he did towards taking the country to heights, its mark is still visible in the economic system of India. In the year 1987, he was decorated with the title of Padma Vibhushan. After this, he was honored with many national and international awards. It is evident how big his stature was. Apart from this, the Leader of Opposition also paid tribute to former MLA late Chandrashekhar.

BSP MLA Mohammad Shahzad, while paying tribute to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, said that he took the country to economic heights. He himself accepts this. He also paid tribute to former MLA late Chandrashekhar and said that he was a very simple person. The former MLA is not getting the state honors that he should get at the funeral.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, while paying tribute to former PM Manmohan Singh, said that his tenure as Finance Minister is considered historic. At the same time, Congress MLA Pritam Singh said that the biography of Dr. Manmohan Singh is going to give direction to all of us. We have lost such a personality, which the country needed. He also remembered former MLA Chandrashekhar Bhatte Wale.

It is our endeavor that the funeral of those working in the society should be done with state honors. Whoever is a former MLA or has done notable work in the society, his funeral will be done with state honors.
