Police has solved the case of murder of a missing elderly person in Dehradun. Police has arrested two accused involved in the murder conspiracy from Saharanpur. While the main accused is out of police custody. It is being told that a woman along with her husband had carried out the murder of the elderly person. To mislead the police, the accused had parked the deceased’s motorcycle near the bus stand.

On February 7, Nidhi Rathore, daughter of Shyam Lal, resident of Chandramani, had given a complaint to the police regarding the case. In which Nidhi told that her father had left the house on his bike. After which he has not returned. The family tried to find him at every possible place, but he could not be traced. Police started investigating the case after receiving the complaint. Police tracked Shyam Lal’s call details and location. In which it was found that Shyam Lal had last talked to a woman named Geeta.
The couple had killed him together
The police tracked the location of Geeta and her husband Himanshu, which was found with Shyamlal. When the police inquired about Geeta and her husband, both of them suddenly fled from their house and their phones were also switched off. This deepened the police’s suspicion. The police investigation proceeded further. The police raided Geeta’s maternal home in Saharanpur. From where the police took Geeta’s brother Ajay into custody.
The woman’s brother had disposed of the body
During interrogation, Ajay told the police that Geeta and her husband Himanshu had killed Shyamlal on February 2. After this, Geeta had called Ajay and his friend Dhanraj Chawla to dispose of the body. Ajay and Dhanraj had reached Doon in their car. They brought the old man’s body in a sack to Deoband and threw it in the canal. The accused parked the old man’s bike in an empty plot near the bus stand. So that it looks like the old man has gone somewhere on his own.
Search for main accused continues
The main accused Himanshu is an MBBS student of a reputed medical institute. Police have arrested Ajay and his friend Dhanraj Chawla. The main accused Geeta and Himanshu are absconding, police are conducting raids in search of them. Police say that both will be arrested soon.
