Uttarakhand: Uproar in the assembly over unparliamentary behaviour, speaker in action, case referred to ethics committee

During the budget session in the Uttarakhand Assembly, the issue of unparliamentary behavior inside the House was very much in the news. The issue of the altercation that took place in the House on Tuesday was raised in the House on Wednesday. The ruling BJP MLAs demanded an apology from the Congress MLA on the matter. After this, there was an uproar in the House. Due to which the Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri referred the matter to the Ethics Committee of the Assembly.
The tension between the MLAs inside the Uttarakhand Assembly is not a new thing. A similar situation was also seen in the Assembly on Tuesday. After this, there was an uproar in the House. On Wednesday, the ruling party and the opposition clashed with each other over this matter. The ruling party MLAs demanded an apology from the opposition party MLA on the issue of unparliamentary behavior.
Uproar as soon as the issue of dignity of the House was raised
In fact, as soon as the proceedings of the House started on Wednesday, MLAs from the ruling party Renu Bisht, Asha Nautiyal raised the issue of dignity of the House and demanded an apology from the Congress MLA. As soon as this matter came up in the House, the uproar started. Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya took charge of the opposition and started registering his protest.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday, there was a heated argument between Congress MLA Madan Bisht and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agarwal, due to which an uncomfortable situation was created in the House. On Wednesday, for about 15 minutes, the proceedings of the House appeared to be full of uproar during the Question Hour. The uproar on this matter increased so much that the Speaker of the Assembly had to stand up and explain to all the MLAs. However, even after this the MLAs did not agree and the Speaker referred the matter to the Ethics Committee.
15 Congress MLAs were suspended during the Gairsain Assembly session
By the way, such a situation in the Uttarakhand Assembly is not a new thing. Earlier also, during the Gairsain Assembly session, some similar situations had arisen. After which 15 Congress MLAs were suspended for a day by the Speaker of the Assembly. Then the Congress MLAs were accused of tearing the rule book and behaving indecently by climbing on the table.
BJP MLA Renu Bisht said- Congress MLA did not apologize
BJP MLA Renu Bisht, who raised the issue in the Vidhan Sabha, said that the kind of behavior shown by the Congress MLA in the House cannot be tolerated at all. This was against parliamentary traditions and hence the issue was raised by her, but despite this the Congress MLA did not apologize.
