The Uttarakhand STF team has arrested a cyber fraudster who cheated youths by luring them with jobs through a fake website. The accused had cheated dozens of people across the country by creating a fake website. The accused is a student of an engineering college located in Premnagar. He has been arrested by the police.

Giving information, STF SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar said that some time ago, about 30 complaints of the same type were seen on the I4C portal (cyber police portal) from the states of Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi. In which a cyber fraudster from Nanda Ki Chowki, Premnagar area was cheating many youths across the country through his fake website Neutrino Lab.

Taking cognizance of the complaints, SSP STF directed action against the cyber fraudster. The investigation team analyzed the mobile numbers and bank accounts of the cyber fraudsters registered in the complaints received on the online portal 1930 and also contacted the youth who complained. The victims told that the cyber fraudsters first contact them through LinkedIn account. Then they interview them in the name of giving them a job in their company and force them to buy a Pentab from their company Neutrino Dot and block them after extorting 5 to 6 thousand rupees from them.
The accused was an engineering student
On finding out the continuous activities of the cyber fraudster, it was found that he is an engineering student in an educational institute located in Premnagar area. The STF team arrested the accused from Premnagar area late Thursday night. 1 laptop, 1 mobile phone, 2 Pentab, 4 bank cards, 2 cheque books, 1 diary were recovered from the accused. The arrested cyber fraudster has been identified as Kripal Sharma, resident of West Bengal.
The accused used to cheat the victims in this way
During interrogation, the accused told that he used to contact unemployed young men and women on his LinkedIn account number and lure them with online jobs in his company. The accused used to tell them that they would be provided questions on various subjects like Physics, Biology and other subjects, for which they would have to make a video of the correct answers and upload it on the website, for which they would be paid.
To solve the question paper, they would have to buy a pentagram from my fake website neutrino.in and after solving those questions, they would have to make a video of it and send it. The accused also told that if they are not selected, their money will be refunded. When they contact me to return the money, I do not give them the money saying that the time is over or else block them.
