Uttar Pradesh: Fire breaks out in a moving bus in Shahjahanpur: Passengers saved their lives by jumping, fire brigade brought the fire under control

A major accident was averted on National Highway 24 in Chowk Kotwali area of Shahjahanpur. A private bus going from Shravasti to Delhi suddenly caught fire. 40 passengers in the bus showed promptness and saved their lives by jumping.
The driver immediately stopped the bus on the roadside and informed the police. However, the luggage of the passengers kept in the bus was burnt to ashes. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the fire brigade team and police reached the spot.
Fire brigade employees are busy controlling the fire. Due to this incident, there is a long jam on both sides of the highway. Police is trying to clear the jam. CO City Pankaj Pant said that the passengers sitting in the bus were not injured due to the fire. All the passengers have been safely rescued from the bus. The fire brigade has controlled the fire.
Bus driver Govind, a resident of Shravasti, said that different passengers were sitting in the bus. There was a lot of heat inside the bus. When the bus was stopped, the engine had caught fire. After that, all the passengers were started to get down. Some of the luggage of the passengers has been burnt. It is a matter of luck that the passengers were brought down before the fire took a terrible form.
Saeeda, a resident of Shravasti, left for Umrah with her husband Suboor. She was sitting on the front seat of the bus. She was feeling very hot inside the bus. She told the driver about this. Suboor, who was going for Umrah, said that he had a ticket to go from Delhi Airport on Saturday. He said that he was going for a good work. Therefore, God saved everyone’s life.
