Uttarakhand: CM Dhami said in the House- If we had shown false dreams to the public then there would not have been a triple engine government
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in the House that if we had shown false dreams to the people, then there would not have been a triple engine government in the state and NDA government under the leadership of PM Modi for the third time at the Center. He responded sharply to the allegations of the opposition during the discussion on the budget in the Assembly. He also took a dig at the Congress leaders who surrounded the government over corruption. He said that those who distributed mining leases during their time seem to be more upset.
The Chief Minister also tried to answer the opposition on the allegations leveled regarding the neglect of Gairsain. The Chief Minister said that what his government has done for the development of Gairsain is beyond everyone’s imagination. We did not use it as a political issue. He had announced to hold a session in Gairsain. The session was held in Dehradun on the request of the Speaker. He said that he went to Gairsain three times without a session. There he has resolved to develop Sarkot village as the Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gaon. In the times to come, Sarkot will become an inspiration for other villages.
The CM gave a detailed account of the financial provisions made in the budget and the new schemes. He also mentioned the achievements of the government. He said that for the first time in the history of the state, a provision of Rs 14 thousand crore was made for infrastructure development. He thanked PM Modi for the approval of Jamrani, Song and Lakhwar project. The CM said that our government makes a serious effort to implement the promises made to the public. When we go among the public during elections, we definitely show them the report card of our work. If we had shown false dreams to the public and not done real work, there would not have been a triple engine government in the state. He said that we are not among those who used to say in front of the camera that whatever you want to do, do it, I will close my eyes. The Chief Minister told about anti-copying law, UCC, conversion, anti-riot law.
Came after taking Kumbh bath and then started raising questions
The CM accused the opposition of misleading the public through politics even during the Covid period. They themselves were getting vaccinated secretly and were stopping people. He even took a dip in the Kumbh and then raised many questions.

The CM said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that we all are residents of Uttarakhand. Pointing towards Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agarwal, the CM said that we all are one… right, isn’t it Prem Bhai?
We took decisive action against corruption
The CM attacked the opposition when the issue of corruption was raised under Rule-58. He said that the mother of corruption, its self-styled leaders are repeatedly making allegations. Some people are more worried, who had distributed liquor and mining leases in their time. The CM said that decisive action was taken for the first time in the history of Uttarakhand. He assured that if there is any document, action will be taken.
