Uttarakhand:Protest against the amended strict land law started, Sangharsh Samiti tore copies, warned of a big movement

The Uttarakhand Assembly has passed the amended strict land law today. After which all kinds of reactions are coming. The Mool Niwas Bhoomi Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti also put forth its side in the matter. The Mool Niwas Bhoomi Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti has called the amendments in the land law a betrayal of the public. In protest against this, the convenor of the Sangharsh Samiti, Mohit Dimri, tore the copies of the Land Law Amendment Bill and protested.

Mool Niwas Bhoomi Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti convenor Mohit Dimri said that in the amended bill of the land law, the government has kept the urban areas out of the purview of this law, so the lands selling at the highest price are in urban areas. There is no restriction on buying land here. Mohit Dimri said –

There are many districts across the state including Dehradun, where any outsider can buy land recklessly. Not only this, permission has been given to buy land in Kedarnath, Badrinath and Gangotri Nagar Panchayat areas as well. This law is only for rural areas. Under this, an outsider can buy 250 meters of land.

Mohit Dimri said that there is no limit on buying land in cities, whereas since the formation of the state, land mafias have encroached upon the valuable land in urban areas. The Sangharsh Samiti demanded that a single law be made for buying land in urban and rural areas. They have also objected to keeping Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts out of the land law.

The Mool Niwas Bhoo Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti said-

The government’s intention is to change the demography of Uttarakhand. So that the identity of the hilly state of Uttarakhand can be destroyed. The committee has called it a black law. Mohit Dimri said that the Mool Niwas Bhoo Kanoon Samanvay Sangharsh Samiti will go to the public with this. Once again the public will be mobilized through a movement.
