Uttarakhand: Committee will be formed for the selection of Lokayukta, meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dhami

A selection committee will be formed for the Lokayukta. Instructions have been given to prepare a panel for this. This decision was taken in the Lokayukta Committee meeting held at the CM residence on Saturday under the chairmanship of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. A meeting will be held again in March. After the instructions of the committee, now a panel of officers will be prepared for the members of the selection committee.
On Saturday itself, a meeting was held in the State Information Commission regarding the selection of the post of Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner. The Speaker and the Leader of the Opposition also attended this meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dhami. Let us tell you that the tenure of State Information Commissioner Vipin Chand Ghildiyal is ending on March 3.
He is also the Chief Information Commissioner in charge. After his tenure ends, two posts of Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioner will become vacant in the Commission. Applications have already been sought for these. It is believed that before March 3, the committee will meet and take a decision on the Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner.
