He also said that ‘Chhava’ is a historical saga and he has tried his best to ensure that there is no tampering with history.

This film is based on the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who was the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal is playing the lead role in the film, while Rashmika Mandanna is seen in the role of his wife Yesubai.
