International Yoga Conference concluded at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, emphasis was laid on Yoga research

The two-day International Yoga Conference organized under the joint aegis of Indian Association of Yoga and Yoga Science Department at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University located in Haridwar has concluded. In the closing session, Secretary Sanskrit Education Deepak Kumar Gairola gave instructions to make the dreams of Prime Minister Modi a reality.

Sanskrit Education Secretary Deepak Kumar Gairola, who was present in the program as the chief guest, said that efforts are being made to provide employment-oriented education to Sanskrit students. He said that not a single Sanskrit student should remain unemployed, for this the placement cell of the university will have to play an active role. Gairola said that scientists of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and IIT Roorkee are working together on AI Sanskrit. Soon this project will be successful.

Instructions given to Yoga Department to make a half-hour package of Aasan-Pranayama

Deepak Gairola said that Prime Minister Modi had expressed concern over the increasing obesity in India in the Mann Ki Baat program. To solve this, the Yoga Department has been instructed to make a half-hour package of Aasan-Pranayama and promote it. So that the people of the society can get its benefit. He also said that instructions should be given to make special arrangements for the teaching of Yama-Niyama under Ashtanga Yoga.
