Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute by offering a wreath on the mortal remains of Inspector General of Police Kewal Khurana. Chief Minister Dhami met Khurana’s family and expressed his condolences. Along with this, he prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and patience to the family members. Let us tell you that on Sunday, Kewal Khurana breathed his last at Max Hospital in Delhi. There is a wave of mourning in the police department since his departure.

Khurana was battling cancer for a long time

Senior IPS officer of 2005 batch of Uttarakhand cadre, Kewal Khurana was battling cancer for a long time. He was counted among the sharp officers. Currently he had the responsibility of IG Training. Kewal Khurana had also taken over the responsibility as SSP in Dehradun. Apart from Dehradun, he has been SSP of many districts. Khurana is also known for improving the traffic system in Dehradun.
