Uttarakhand’s daughter Ankita created history, achieved All India second rank in JRF exam by writing with her feet

Ankita Topal of Didauli village in Karnaprayag of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand has created a new history with her ability. By securing the All India second rank in the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examination, Ankita has not only brought laurels to her family but to the entire state.

By writing with feet, she secured the All India second rank in the JRF examination

Unable to write with hands since childhood, Ankita, daughter of Prem Singh Topal, studied by writing with her feet and achieved this prestigious success in the subject of History. Earlier, she had shown her talent by participating in the National Children’s Science Research Competition at the state level.

Ankita writes with her feet because she is disabled

Let us tell you that Ankita’s father Prem Singh is an instructor in ITI and is currently posted in Tehri. Ankita has been disabled since childhood and writes with her feet. After completing 10th from Dewal block and 12th from Rishikesh, Ankita completed her higher education from Dehradun. She did PG in History and now has achieved success in JRF.

Wave of happiness in the area

This achievement of Ankita has proved that if the intentions are strong, any difficulty can be overcome. Ankita’s journey was not easy. Despite belonging to a small village and not being able to write, she never let this become her weakness. There is a wave of happiness in the entire area after Ankita’s success.
