‘Sheikh Hasina’s’ bumper victory in Bangladesh, Awami League defeated Yunus government in this election

Sheikh Hasina has been in India’s refuge since the fall of power in Bangladesh and the interim government led by Mohammad Yunus is in power in the country. Now Yunus’ game is going to end soon in Bangladesh. This is believed to be because after so much opposition in the country, Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League has won a bumper victory in the District Lawyers Association (Bar Association) elections.
Election of the Executive Committee of the Bar Association
The election of the Executive Committee of the Chapainawabganj District Lawyers Association of Bangladesh was concluded on Monday (24 February). Voting started at 10 am on Monday, which was conducted till 3 pm in the District Advocates Association Bhawan. After this, the counting of votes started and the counting of votes ended at around 8:30 pm. After the counting of votes was over, the election results came out and Awami League supporters won the election by securing more seats than the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-Jamaat panel.
This election is for the executive committee of one year. A total of 34 candidates including 3 panels and one independent contested the election, in which Awami League won 6 posts in the supported panel (Manirul-Dollar Parishad).

The results of the District Lawyers Association (Bar Association) election have caught everyone’s attention. At the same time, this election has increased the tension of Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government in power in Bangladesh. It is being said that the wind of the Yunus government is about to change in Bangladesh and the effect of these election results can also be seen in the general elections of the country in the coming time. At the same time, through this executive committee election, Bangladeshi lawyers have expressed their displeasure against the Yunus government.
