Uttarakhand: Marriage registration of government employees is mandatory on UCC portal, Chief Secretary issued instructions

Marriage registration on the UCC portal has been made compulsory for all married employees working in government service. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed the heads of all departments to appoint nodal officers.

It is compulsory for employees who got married after March 26, 2010 to register on the UCC portal. The nodal officer will register the employees of his districts in a timely manner and send the report to the Home Secretary. On Monday, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has also issued instructions in this regard.

At the same time, Chief Secretary Radha has directed the Director ITDA to ensure seamless registration on the UCC portal. She has said that he should provide necessary technical assistance to the districts and departments. If any district or department has any technical requirement, they should contact her immediately.
