Flight became a nightmare
It is being told that Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin of Australia were going to Venice as part of their dream trip, but their journey suddenly turned into horror when they were on a Qatar Airways flight, when a woman suddenly fainted after going to the washroom and fell in the aisle. The flight crew tried to provide immediate medical assistance, but the woman could not be saved and she died there. Recalling this incident, Mitchell Ring said, “Unfortunately, we could not save her and it was very sad to see.” The flight crew kept the body near them
The flight crew decided to keep the dead woman’s body on the seat, as there were empty seats near the couple, the crew requested them to change their seat. Mitchell Ring said, “They looked at us and then said, ‘Can you make some space?’ My wife and I were shocked to hear this.” The flight crew wrapped the body in a blanket and kept it there. Jennifer Collin, who is herself a nervous flyer, was completely scared by this incident. She said, “When my husband shook me and said ‘move, move’, then I realized that they were going to keep the body there. It was very scary for me.”
Had to wait even after landing
When the flight landed, police and medical officials reached the plane, due to which the couple had to wait further. This incident “scared and shook” them mentally. Mitchell and Jennifer claim that there were other empty seats in the flight, but no offer was made to shift them there.

After the incident went viral on social media, Qatar Airways apologized and said that they are investigating the incident. An airline spokesperson said, “We regret that the incident caused any inconvenience or pain to the passengers. We are contacting all affected passengers as per our policies and procedures.” Apart from this, Qatar Airways’ partner Qantas Airlines also responded.
Qantas said that the tickets were booked through their airline, but the flight was being operated by Qatar Airways. He said, “In such situations, decisions are taken by the operating airline.” This incident has raised questions about the safety of passengers and the procedures for dealing with emergency situations during air travel.
