Action will be taken against adulterators, campaign started in Uttarakhand before Holi

In view of the Holi festival, the Uttarakhand government has started a comprehensive campaign across the state to crack down on adulterators. On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, the Food Safety and Drug Control Administration has prepared for strict action.

Campaign started in Uttarakhand before Holi

The administration has formed raiding squads and mobile vehicle teams to deal with adulterators. Health Secretary Dr. R Rajesh Kumar says that the priority of the department is to provide quality and unadulterated products to the common people. Let us tell you that the festival of Holi is near. In such a situation, the Food Safety and Drug Control Administration has started a state-wide campaign.

Raid campaign continues

The Additional Commissioner and Drug Controller of the Department, Tajbar Jaggi, says that the raid campaign is going on continuously in Garhwal and Kumaon divisions. The department has formed a vigilance cell. Action is taken on receiving complaints here. Along with this, monitoring is also being done through surveillance. He told that nodal officers have been appointed in every district. Who are doing sampling by raiding various establishments through food inspectors. He told that sampling arrangements have also been made in mobile vehicles.

Special investigation of mawa, paneer and khoya being done

Food Safety and Drug Control Administration Additional Commissioner Tajbar Jaggi told that mawa, paneer, khoya are being tested in Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar, so that common people can get correct and quality products. He told that we have been instructed to take joint action by coordinating with the drug controller and food inspectors of the cities of UP bordering the state.

Strict investigation being done in three districts

Additional Commissioner Food Safety Tajbar Jaggi told that milk and its products coming from outside are being tested at Asharodi in Dehradun. He said that most of the complaints are from Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar. Intensive checking campaign is being run here and sampling of products is being done.
