Kedarnath temple was opposed in Delhi

The matter escalated in Uttarakhand and the right holders of the four Dhams protested. They believed that the construction of a temple with this name in Delhi could reduce the religious sanctity of the original Kedarnath temple. The government had made a rule in the cabinet

Seeing the matter getting heated, the Dhami government of Uttarakhand came into action. To stop the misuse of the names of its Char Dhams and major temples, the government decided in the cabinet that no one will be able to use the names of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand, nor will any Dham be built in the name of the four Dhams and even the name of the trust will not be in the name of the Dham.
