Last bath of Maha Kumbh on Maha Shivratri, huge crowd of devotees gathered at Sangam

Today, on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Maha Kumbh 2025 is concluding with the last royal bath (Maha Kumbh 2025 Last Snan). In this grand event which lasted for 45 days, more than 66 crore devotees took a dip of faith in the Sangam. To keep the traffic smooth, no-entry of vehicles was implemented in the Kumbh Mela from the evening of 25 February last day itself. A huge crowd of devotees was seen towards the Sandam banks from the night itself.

Last bath of Mahakumbh on Mahashivratri
This year, a rare combination of planets and constellations is being formed on Mahashivratri. It is considered very auspicious from the spiritual point of view. It is believed that bathing in the Sangam on this day not only destroys all sins. But also liberates from the inauspicious effects of the planets. Apart from this, it is believed that taking Kumbh bath on Mahashivratri gives peace to the souls of the ancestors. This also eliminates the Pitra Dosha present in the horoscope.

Brahma Muhurat Bath – from 05:10 am to 06:00 am
Amrit Kaal Bath – from 07:28 am to 09:00 am
Sandhya Muhurat Bath – from 05:34 am to 06:49 am
Vijay Muhurat Bath – from 02:29 pm to 03:15 pm
Godhuli Muhurat Bath – from 06:17 pm to 06:42 pm
Ratri Muhurat Bath – from 06:19 pm to 07:34 pm
So many devotees took bath in Maha Kumbh 2025
This time crores of devotees gathered for holy bath in Maha Kumbh. From the very beginning, the crowd of devotees kept gathering on the banks of Sangam.

  • 13 January (Paush Purnima): 1.70 crore devotees took bath
  • 14 January (Makar Sankranti): 3.50 crore devotees took bath
  • 29 January (Mauni Amavasya): 7.64 crore devotees took bath
  • 3 February (Basant Panchami): 2.57 crore devotees took bath
  • 12 February (Magh Purnima): 2 crore devotees took bath
