Uttarakhand: On Mahashivratri, a huge crowd of devotees gathered in Shiva temples, long queues were formed for Jalabhishek

The festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated with great pomp across the country today. A huge crowd of devotees has gathered for Jalabhishek in the Shiva temples of Uttarakhand.

A large number of devotees are standing in line since 4 am to worship Mahadev at the famous Rikeshwar Mahadev temple in Lohaghat, Champawat.
Devotees are waiting for their turn outside the Rikeshwar temple since morning to worship Mahadev and perform Jalabhishek.

Devotees of Mahadev have kept fast to please the Lord. A large number of police force has been deployed to maintain peace outside the temple.
Apart from this, a large number of devotees have reached Pancheshwar, Rameshwar, Baleshwar, Maneshwar, Hareshwar, Purneshwar Dham of the district to worship Mahadev. Let us tell you that a grand Shiv procession will be taken out in Lohaghat in the afternoon and a huge fair will be organized.

At the same time, a huge crowd of devotees has gathered at Jageshwar Jyotirling of Lord Mahamrityunjay in the world famous historical Jageshwar Dham of Almora. Shiva devotees are worshiping their beloved deity.
There is a long queue of people in Jageshwar Dham since morning and till late evening thousands of devotees will have darshan of Mahamrityunjay. Devotees are performing puja rituals with chants of Bam-Bam.
