Families of Israeli hostages upset with Netanyahu, wrote a letter and said something big

The families of the Israeli hostages who returned from Hamas captivity do not seem happy with Netanyahu. They believe that Netanyahu is using the dead for his political gain. Relatives of two Israeli children and their mother who died in captivity in Gaza have demanded that Benjamin Netanyahu and his government stop using their deaths for political gain.
Israeli family raises questions
Shiry Bibas and her children, Ariel and Kfir, aged four years and nine months respectively, were kidnapped by the Mujahideen, a small armed group active in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, during a Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7 October 2023.
Do not take advantage of death
Yarden’s sister Ofri Bibas repeatedly accused Netanyahu of the deaths of Shiry, Ariel and Kfir in a Facebook post on Tuesday. Along with this, he also shared that they were targeted for sharing confidential information.
Hamas said Israel killed them
Hamas said they were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza in November 2023. Shiri’s husband Yarden Bibas was released last month during the first phase of a ceasefire agreement agreed between Hamas and Israel. Last week, military spokesman Daniel Hagari said that Israel had intelligence that they were already dead. He said he was not killed in the strike.
Lawyer contacted the government
Ynet reported that the family has sent a letter demanding that the prime minister and other government officials and bodies not publish notifications about them. Meanwhile, lawyer Dana Pugach, representing the Bibas family, contacted several officials, including the Foreign Ministry, top military officials and Netanyahu, on Monday and insisted that details about the deaths should be released only through the family.
Mistreatment of the family
In a post, Bibas’ sister Free Bibas said that revealing details about the cause of death was “mistreatment of a family that has been through 16 months of hell and the worst is yet to come”. She added, “So if I can say one thing to everyone on behalf of the Bibas family, it is to keep quiet.”
