International Yoga Festival will be organized in Rishikesh, this will be special

Preparations are being made to take an important step to make Uttarakhand the global capital of yoga. The state government is organizing the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh from March 1 to March 7 in collaboration with the Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation and the Tourism Department. As per the instructions of CM Dhami, the main objective of this event is to promote yoga globally and highlight the spiritual heritage of Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami calls upon yoga lovers to participate in the festival
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has called upon all yoga lovers and practitioners to participate in this festival. CM Dhami said, “Uttarakhand is known all over the world as the land of yoga and spirituality. Rishikesh is not only the international capital of yoga, but it is also a symbol of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. The International Yoga Festival will enable the whole world to benefit from this ancient discipline of India.” Yoga Mahotsav will be organized in Ganga Resort
Regarding the International Yoga Festival, Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation Managing Director Vishal Mishra informed that this prestigious Yoga Mahotsav will be organized in Ganga Resort, Rishikesh. The Chief Minister will inaugurate it on March 1. Renowned yoga teachers, sadhaks and participants from the country and abroad will participate in this event, who will practice various yoga asanas and meditation methods.
Cultural programs will also be presented
During the Yoga Mahotsav, yoga training will be given in various sessions every day. Apart from this, there will also be presentations of cultural programs and discourses of spiritual saints, which will make this event more meaningful. This festival will play a role in taking yoga and Indian culture to the global level.
