Promotion of 27 sub-inspectors in Uttarakhand Police, appointment to the post of inspector
Uttarakhand Police Department has completed the promotion process for the vacant posts of Inspector Civil Police under the selection year 2023-24-25. On the basis of the recommendation of the Departmental Selection Committee, 27 Sub Inspectors have been promoted to the post of Inspector (Civil Police).
As per the Uttarakhand Police Sub Inspector and Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence) Service Rules 2018 and its amended provisions, this promotion process was completed. As per the order issued by the Director General of Police, Uttarakhand on 22 February 2025, the selected officers have been appointed for their new responsibilities.
