Uttarakhand: Land Law Struggle Committee announced to take out ‘Swabhiman Torch Procession’
Preparations are being made once again for a movement in Uttarakhand for the identity and respect of the hills. The Mool Niwas Bhoomi-Kanoon Sangharsh Samiti has called upon all social organizations and the general public to take out a torch procession.

Mool Niwas Bhoomi-Kanoon Sangharsh Samiti convenor Mohit Dimri said that the identity of the hills is being continuously hurt. The people of the hills are being abused on the streets and now the people of the hills have been abused inside the assembly as well. Dimri said that this shows what kind of mentality the MLAs have towards the hills.
Preparations to take out a ‘Swabhimaan Mashal Jaal’ on March 1
Mool Niwas Bhoomi-Kanoon Sangharsh Samiti convenor Mohit Dimri said that a Swabhimaan Mashal Jaal will be taken out across the state on March 1 at 6 pm. The Mool Niwas Bhoomi-Kanoon Sangharsh Samiti has called upon all social organizations and the general public to take out a torch procession.
Neither the ruling party nor the opposition is concerned about the existence of the mountain: Dimri
Dimri said that Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt are hurting the sentiments of the people of Uttarakhand. He said that the ruling party and the opposition are two different sides of the same coin. They are not concerned about the existence of the mountain and saving its resources.
